The Leidos Health Group is currently looking for a Program Coordinator to support the Directed Energy (DE) department at the Naval Medical Research Unit, San Antonio (NAMRU-SA) in San Antonio, TX. NAMRU-SA conducts gap driven combat casualty care, craniofacial, and directed energy research to improve survival, operational readiness, and safety of Department of Defense personnel engaged in routine and expeditionary operation.

    Main Objective:

    • Facilitates information flow between program members, PI, and Department Head
    • Provide recommendations to the Government regarding contractor labor utilization, contractor workflow, and contractor operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, overall improvements to support of this effort.
    • Coordinates the decision-making process between all contract personnel
    • Coordinates and conducts in-house contract personnel actions and provides to contract personnel guidance and assistance as needed
    • Oversees project budgets and materials acquisition related to research under contract to ensure successful project completion
    • Aids in coordinating program monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
    • Tracks the progress of programs or projects for research performed under contract to ensure milestones and benchmarks are met
    • Provides support in writing protocol-driven research proposals, animal use protocols, human use protocols, technical reports, final reports, and peer-reviewed manuscripts
    • Provides support in the performance of various administrative duties related to the coordination and execution of Government-directed DE professional meetings and events
    • Assists with developing post-event material to include, but not limited to, meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports involving both technical and specialized scientific terminology

    What Set You Apart:

    • Bachelor's degree with five years of experience, or Master's degree with one year of experience or equivalent. Degree should be in a related field.
    • Experience in Directed Energy or DE-related research is preferred
    • Possess or be able to acquire, at a minimum, a SECRET classification access level. Preference will be given to a candidate who already has this clearance level
    • Due to Federal contract requirements, US citizenship is required

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $49, $89,300.00
