    Description
    *Mechanical Quality Inspector**Location: Rialto, CA**Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm**Pay: $ $28.00**Description*Machine Shop; mechanical inspection; blueprint reading; understanding GD&T; measuring instruments; creating and completing inspection reports; AS9102B; NCRs; receiving, in-process, final inspections; computers (Word, Excel, Teams); product and paperwork traceability.

    *Roles and Responsibilities:

    Candidate will be:

    • Responsible for adhering to best inspection methods and practices including but not limited to: following operations, interpreting drawings, reviewing setups, and following all applicable specifications to inspect incoming, in-process, and final machined and/or fabricated parts, processes and assemblies, using various measuring devices, and making determinations for acceptance or rejection.
    • Capable of assembling and reviewing paperwork required for customer certification packages.
    • Comfortable working with suppliers and customers for verification of product acceptance.
    • Experienced with reviewing customer purchase orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with all requirements.
    *Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma and 4 years of relevant Inspection/Quality Control Experience.
    • Experience and understanding of GD&T / Blueprint reading.
    • Capable of decision making and staying on task with minimal supervision.
    • Comfortable pivoting/changing tasks; Working in a fast-paced environment.
    • General understanding of CMM function and capabilities.
    • Ability to safely lift up-to 40 lbs.
    • Walking, bending, and sitting for long periods of time may be required.
    • Able to work overtime when necessary.
    *Preferred Qualifications:

    • Machine shop Inspection Experience, 4 years.
    • Verisurf software, 2 years
    • Faro Arm experience.
