    Responsibilities The Director, IT Services
    • Infrastructure, works within the IT Services Department, and is responsible for providing top level leadership to our partners at Seattle Children's.
    The incumbent serves as the conduit and focal point for those IT-related innovations generated by both internal IT staff and our Partners and Customers.

    The position is responsible for all functions within Infrastructure that have direct partner engagement as a primary responsibility, which currently encompasses Server Engineering, Database and Storage Engineering, Voice and Telecommunication Services and Data Center Operations.

    In addition, the position must manage, implement and evaluate policies, procedures, protocols and systems to secure and safeguard patient, financial, employee, and other proprietary data and systems throughout Seattle Children's; and manage, oversee and coordinate associated projects in order to effectively prioritize and manage multiple priorities and to ensure timely identification and resolution of conflicts/issues.

    #LI-JC1 Requirements Required Education/Experience:

    Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Eight (8) years in the services field which includes managing managed services, vendor management, strategic sourcing experience and consulting with senior and executive leadership.

    Three (3) to five (5) years direct supervisory experience.

    Three (3) to five (5) years of vendor management of Managed Services with implementation of large complex technical architectures within a multi-disciplined environment.

    Masters Degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Risk Management or related field.
