    Summary

    Operate numerically controlled machine tools to perform a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances. Responsible for coordinating fabrication activities/personnel.

    Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

    • Train other fabrication personnel as needed
    • Under direction of the Production Superintendent, direct personnel to move material, fabricate at work cells, package finished goods, etc.

    Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

    • Previous fabrication experience required
    • Teamwork and multi-tasking skills
    • Must be able to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
    • Must be able to operate measuring devices
    • Must have knowledge of machining techniques/methods and related experience
    • Ability to write legibly and communicate clearly with professionalism and courtesy

    Work Environment

    Fabrication/warehouse environment

    This is an OVERNIGHT position

    Physical demands may include but are not limited to:

    • High level of walking, standing, and/or climbing
    • Stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
    • Work outside/inside around machinery with moving parts and vehicles
    • Exposure to all seasons of weather, as well as slippery and uneven surfaces
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 60lbs
