    Radiologic Technologist - Albuquerque, NM - 13 Weeks Contract

    Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Radiologic Technologist to work onsite at our client's healthcare facility in Albuquerque, NM.

    Shift : 12 hour Nights

    EMR Used: EPIC

    Summary:
    • We are looking for a candidate who provides excellent patient care and high quality exams. We are looking for someone who brings out the best in others and adds value to our team.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
    • Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety.
    • Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position.
    • Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient.
    • Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding.
    • Keep good patient records.
    • Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and placing orders.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
    Requirements:
    • Primary ARRT certification required.
    • ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
    • NM state license is required.
    • Current BLS required.
    • 2 years' experience current required.
    • Must have successfully completed at least one previous 13-week travel assignment.
