    Overview

    Dignity Health Medical Group - North State is a 60+ provider multi-specialty group in Northern California. We are a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation and aligned with Dignity Health, the largest hospital provider in California. We are recruiting a Physician (IM or FM) to join the Solano Street Medical Clinic in Corning, CA.

    Practice/Group Highlights

    • Opportunity for Medical Directorship, if appropriate.
    • 100% outpatient practice; no hospital call, no hospital rounds

    Community Description

    Corning is located in the northern part of California, in Tehama County. It is situated in the Sacramento Valley, approximately 110 miles north of Sacramento, the state capital. The town is easily accessible by Interstate 5, making it a convenient location for those traveling through or seeking a peaceful rural community. The community offers a unique blend of small-town charm and a tranquil rural setting surrounded by lush landscapes and agricultural fields, making it an ideal place to live and work.     Responsibilities

    Patient Care:

    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

    Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information.
    • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

    Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

    Diagnostic Procedures:

    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
    • Perform procedures as needed
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

    Quality Improvement:

    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
    • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

    Compliance:

    • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
    • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

    Continuous Learning:

    • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
    • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
    • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

    Qualifications

    • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
    • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
    • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

    Pay Range

    $ $143.00 /hour
