The Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies in Orlando Health is seeking a Financial Counselor I.The Financial Counselor assists patients and their families with services to ensure the process of collecting payments is fully explained and comfortable as possible,
Responsibilities include gathering demographic and financial information accurately and efficiently,
contacting primary care or admitting physicians for authorizations and diagnoses,
,explaining necessary forms to patients/guarantors
,collecting co-pays, deductibles and self-pay portions due.
