    You will be at the forefront of our platform's evolution, leading and managing a dynamic team of developers and engineers.

    Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of platform development, including project management, requirements definition, functional spec approval, QA, and change management.

    You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our global ecommerce initiatives through your strategic leadership and technical expertise.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Team Management:
    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
    Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company goals.
    Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.

    Platform Development and Architecture:
    Oversee the development and maintenance of our B2C ecommerce platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and specifications, taking into account business needs and industry best practices.

    Drive the architectural design and implementation of new features and enhancements, leveraging your expertise in platform architecture and design patterns.


    Project Management and Execution:
    Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for platform development initiatives.
    Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful project delivery, managing expectations and dependencies effectively.
    Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks proactively to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

    Quality Assurance and Change Management:
    Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for platform development, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and release processes.
    Implement robust QA processes to ensure the reliability, security, and usability of the ecommerce platform.
    Lead change management efforts, facilitating communication and training to ensure smooth adoption of platform changes and enhancements.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    Proven experience (5 years) in leading and managing platform development teams, preferably in the B2C ecommerce domain.
    Strong understanding of ecommerce platform architecture, including experience with scalable and high-availability systems.

    Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
    Experience with change management processes and driving organizational change initiatives is a plus.
