    They will work as a liaison between the emergency service and clinical support team, as well as with clients and referral partners, to achievethe following:
    f a cilitate c lient/patient flow, triagemedical phone calls, coordinateclient/doctor communication, performER visit follow-up calls and more.

    This is a perfect position for a veterinary nurse who is looking to move away from direct patient care, but continue to utilize the knowledge and technical skill set that you have gained in your career, as it will be paramount to all aspects of this role.


    • Experience with Emergency veterinary medicine preferred
    • Experience with Cornerstone and Instinct software appreciated
    The schedule we are hiring for is: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 12pm - 10pm
    Sound knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes

    ~ Broad knowledge of basic small animal medicine (pharmacology and laboratory testing)

    ~ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively with veterinarians, peers, and other hospital personnel

    ~ Maintain open communication with doctor and clinical support staff

    ~ Participate in, and maintain updated patient rounds on all emergency and critical care patients

    ~ Facilitate discharge appointments for emergency and critical care services

    ~ Perform patient follow up phone calls

    ~ Oversee billing accuracy, authorizations, estimates and invoicing

    ~ Proficient computer skills

    ~ Midshift, overnight and weekend schedules eligible for shift differential
