- Perform the duties of a Scrubber: Instrument management, sterile technique, pre-post patient setup.
- Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and keep the staff and patients safe as possible.
- Understand medication effects and report any adverse reactions.
- Document patient data during procedures appropriately utilizing computerized documentation system.
- Have knowledge of normal vs abnormal pressure measurements, ECG waveforms.
- Set up and manage complex equipment from circulator, scrub and monitor roles.
- Provide competent care for the patient in all phases of pre-procedure/post recovery.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of accredited School of Radiology
- Current License as RT in the State of Texas
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification
- Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Previous cath lab and patient care experience
