    Description

    Overview

    The Puller-Loader Associate is in charge of pulling materials for production, matching Trim and Door orders, and loading them on the truck. Below are the main responsibilities:

    Responsibilities

    Door Specific:

    • Receive paperwork with scheduled orders 2 days in advance, pull materials, and stage them for the next day's production.
    • Note any missing products and inform Purchasing or Production accordingly.
    • Mark Backorder on the ticket if necessary.
    • Match Trim Carts with Interior Door packages the day before delivery (loading day).
    • Ensure accuracy of trim and door packages by aligning line items with physical items.
    • Verify all items on the ticket, have Shipping/Dock Manager double-check and sign off.

    General:

    • Work safely and report any unsafe conditions.
    • Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment.
    • Utilize forklift to move carts and materials within the warehouse.
    • Maintain general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, trash disposal, and organizing the area.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Preferably 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
    • Forklift experience is a plus.
    • Basic understanding of Millwork construction supplies.
    • Quickly distinguish order numbers.
    • Think and act fast.
    • Efficient time management skills.
    • Strong team player.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic math skills are advantageous.
    • Self-motivated.

    Working conditions

    • May require extended hours as needed to complete job tasks.
    • Work environment includes loud noises, high temperatures, and humidity.
    • Working in proximity to machinery and associated safety hazards.
    • Interact with various levels of staff and direct reports.
    • Engage with internal customers to address issues.

    Physical requirements

    • Lifting, standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods in a manufacturing and/or warehouse setting.
