Job Summary:

Newly Weds Foods is a global premium ingredient provider for some of the biggest brand names in the country With 16 manufacturing plants in North America and many more worldwide, we have a great opportunity for applicants with fork-lift experience.

Our set-up employees pull the ingredients to batches together for our blending department to create food coatings.

This is similar to pulling ingredients together for a recipe but on a much larger scale using a forklift Prior experiencing operating a fork lift is a must and working in wholesale food manufacturing is a plus This is a great opportunity to be a part of a $4B global powerhouse that still has a great deal of growth ahead of it Positions open on First and Second Shift Benefits:

Essential Functions:
Consistently select correct ingredients and provide accurate amounts of bulk ingredients per batch requirements.
Provide accurate weights of partial ingredients per batch requirements.
Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.

Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving and warehousingMust be able lift up to 75 pounds continuouslyMust maintain integrity of raw materialsMust assist in inventory and cycle countsMust follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.

Must follow all Safety RulesCooperates in maintaining a safe and respectful work environmentQualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of standup forklift and load move system.


Work Environment:
The job is performed in the warehouse and production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery
