    Salary Range : $180,000 - $400,000

    Client Description(s) :

    We support many firms in the Seattle area who consistently hire IP Litigation Attorneys and almost always have a couple different opportunities candidates can consider. Salary, culture, and team structure will vary by client and position; however, we receive the most requests for candidates between 2-5 years of Associate experience at a large law firm.

    General Overview :

    Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in Intellectual Property Litigation including some of the following subject areas: trade secret, patent, copyright, and other technology-centered commercial disputes. Candidates should have experience independently conducting research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, and organizing, conducting, and managing the discovery practice. A degree or background in computer science or engineering is often preferred, depending on the type of IP. Trial experience is also preferred in more experienced candidates.

    Qualifications :

    • 2-5 years of experience at a law firm (ideally an AM200 firm).
    • Experience handling range of IP litigation, including research, drafting, and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, etc.
    • Trial experience is preferred.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, consistently demonstrate attention to detail, and assume a high degree of responsibility.
    • Strong work ethic, self-starter, and a team-oriented attitude.
    • Excellent academic achievement, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
