The Executive Housekeeping ASST Manager is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department and ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising a team of housekeepers and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include assigning work assignments, inspecting rooms for cleanliness, advising management of rooms ready for occupancy, inventorying stock, issuing supplies and equipment to workers, investigating complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment,
examining rooms halls and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment making recommendations to management supervising oversees all personnel issues relating to herhis department hiring firing development reviews training conducting or training new employees explaining housekeeping work procedures demonstrating use maintenance equipment preparing reports concerning room occupancy payroll expenses department expenses developing action plans items needing improvement scheduling staff according labor standards forecasted occupancy trains standard procedures acceptance security return customer lost found items maintains productivity labor cost goals administers inventories linen supplies equipment as required ensures customer requests housekeeping services provided 30 minutes less lead example using customers name whenever possible handling customer problem empowered way ensure maid carts restocked clean organized manner within 15 minutes completing work ensure maintenance concerns rooms communicated within 1 hour time ensure items lost found returned customer within 2 days receiving call from customer vacant clean rooms checked daily insure status correct matched with bucket daily discrepancies researched documented ensure storerooms kept clean organized secure times bi lingual encouraged
