    Fountain Services, LLC is seeking a FULLTIME Project Controls Specialist for its rapidly growing commercial/industrial electrical contracting operations headquartered in Spindale, NC.     Job Description:

    1. Applies technical expertise to support the development, engineering, procurement, and successful construction of projects.
    2. Ensures assigned project controls are completed on time and in compliance with all technical commercial, safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements to meet or exceed performance targets
    3. The individual will work within a team responsible for effectively collaborating with project managers and field staff to create and implement schedules based on project completion goals.
    4. Assist in materials, logistics, and coordination regarding onsite activities
    5. Coordinate the relationship of electrical and other trades/aspects of the job
    6. Ensure all work carried out confirms with agreed codes and practices, meets all requirements of the contract's specifications, and ensure all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets, and procedures in a safe manner
    7. Optimize project costs, installation, and risk within the schedule limitations
    8. Use of MS Project, Blue Beam, Procore, CAD Software, Estimating Software, Word, Excel

    Minimum Experience:

    Must have experience in Scheduling Software , Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project

    Knowledge in commercial construction is preferred but not required

    Physical Requirements:

    This job is an inside office job with heavy emphasis on computer usage. Applicants must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work from a ladder or scaffold, work overhead, and perform without hindrance activities that involve repetitive reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and/or bending. They must also be able to work in varied climate conditions, and should possess good balance, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and the stamina to perform physically demanding construction work.

    Additional requirements and/or Expectations:

    Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.

    The intern will report to the Spindale, NC HQ campus.

    Microsoft Project familiarity is required.
