Plant Engineer

TDM & Associates LLC, celebrating 25 years of successful executive search business, has been retained to identify highly qualified individuals for the role of Plant Engineer.

Our client is an industry-leading global provider of ingredients to the food service industry.

The Plant Engineer will report to the Plant Manager and will provide engineering support including Project implementation, Production and Equipment Initiatives while assuring that safety and quality goals are being met


Key Responsibilities include:

• Project management, purchasing, and supervision of contractors for all projects to assure completion on a timely basis within budget.
• Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
• Lead and assist management with appropriate training to assure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain appropriate communication/relationships with all employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Attend daily production/quality meetings.
• Provide technical support for plant processes and improvements
• Assume Plant superintendent responsibilities in his/her absence.

Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering or technical-related area from an accredited college/university

Proven Engineering supervision (+6 years or more) in manufacturing

Equipment/Software Skills:
Working knowledge of personal computers (Microsoft software necessary,
Project Management, Microsoft Project preferred) and basic understanding of Allen Bradley PLC.
Knowledge of CMMS such as MP2 is a plus
