- Triage and treat cancer-related issues
- Input chem treatment orders per the ordering physician
- Coordinate chemo treatment start and stop appointments with infusion center
- Give supportive resources/ education to the patient and family members on treatment and side effects
- Access ports (port flush & blood draw)
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License.
- BLS Certified
- One to two years of professional nursing experience
- Port Flush
- Bachelor's Degree
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- Physician office experience
- Inpatient oncology experience; PCU experience; ICU experience
- Oncology experience

Performs a wide variety of professional nursing care activities, multitask and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice, following established standards, practices, policies and procedures.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care to age specific groups identified in the direct care responsibilities , utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the department.
