    We are in search of Entry Level Software Engineer candidates to join an established employer in Columbus, OH.

    Successful candidates will undergo a 12-week training program (40 hours/week) to ensure they are fully prepared for their role from day one. This position will be on-site and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.


    About the training program:
    We provide you with the essential skills and certifications demanded by our clients.

    During the 12 weeks, you will collaborate within team-based environments, working on diverse, real-world projects to get ready for seamless integration into our clients' operations.

    Upon completion of training, you will be assigned to our enterprise or government clients, poised to make an immediate impact right from the start.

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 1 Year of Previous W2 Experience in any field.
    • Possess a deep understanding of programming principles, data structures, algorithms, databases, and SQL to enable software solutions development.
    • Experience with Java, C#, or a similar object-oriented programming language.
    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. under SkillStorm's W2.
    • Willingness to relocate if necessary.

    Key requirements include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a logical mindset to address complex challenges, and develop innovative solutions.

    You should also demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.


    • Develop new applications and enhance existing ones using various programming languages and tools.
    • Ensure solutions meet business requirements, are supportable, and collaborate with teams to create mock-ups and prototypes.
    • Write well-structured, efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
    • Identify and fix bugs in software applications, providing technical support.
    • Participate in code review sessions, sharing knowledge and optimizing performance.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for software applications.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, enhancing technical skills.
    • Understand and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
    • Assist in deploying and testing applications, ensuring performance benchmarks are met.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure project delivery and communicate progress to stakeholders.
