    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA development and be proficient in Verilog/VHDL programming languages. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing FPGA-based solutions for various applications, ensuring performance optimization and adherence to project deadlines. The role also involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges are essential.     Key Responsibilities
    • A mix of FPGA design and verification duties including:
      • Design FPGA blocks in Verilog or VHDL for our ATARS product
      • Simulation and Verification of FPGA designs to ensure functional correctness at the block-level and system-level
      • Synthesis and Implementation of FPGA designs onto target platforms for our ATARS product
    • Work closely with embedded software and electrical engineering to develop a new product
    • Be involved of the bring-up and debugging of new products
    • Prepare and maintain design documentation including specifications and block diagrams
    Experience, Skills, and Required Qualifications
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field
    • Experience: 7 years' experience in FPGA design and development (Xilinx hardware)
    • Hardware Description Languages: Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog and SystemVerilog. Experience with scripting languages such as Python and TCL. Familiarity with C/C++
    • Tools: Experience with Xilinx/AMD FPGA development tools (Vivado & Vitis)
    • Protocols: Understanding of communication protocols such as high-speed serial, UART, SPI, QSPI, I2C, PCIe, etc
    • Architecture/Planning: Experience with resource and power estimation for new FPGA hardware projects
    • This position may require a security clearance. To obtain clearance, employees must show proof of US Citizenship
    Preferred but not required:
    • Master's degree
    • Certifications: Any relevant FPGA certifications would be a plus
    • High-Speed Design: Experience with high-speed design techniques and signal integrity analysis
    • Memory controllers: Experience with managing communication between FPGA and external memory devices such as DDR.
    • RTOS experience
    • Aerospace industry experience
    Salary, Benefits and Perks
    • Base Salary From $110,000 to $180,000, depending on experience
