    Job Title: Registered Nurse (General Care Float Pool)

    We are seeking experienced registered nurses to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen and expand your skill set caring for diverse patient populations on a variety of different units.

    The flexible positions available include day/night, straight nights, and day/night weekends. You will have the option to work 36 or 24 hours per week, with no holiday commitment required.

    About the Role

    • This position involves caring for patients in general medicine, general surgery, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, and oncology.
    • You will be responsible for assuring competent, compassionate, individualized nursing care for specific patients and families.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide safe, efficient, effective, timely, and culturally sensitive care to patients and families.
    • Collaborate with the Nursing Director and members of the Patient Care Team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
    • Ensure that care meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and family.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of one year Med/Surg experience.
    • Degree from an accredited school of Nursing.
    • Valid/Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
    • BLS required.

    Work Details

    • Primary Location: MA-Boston-MGH Main Campus.
    • Work Locations: MGH Main Campus.
    • Schedule: Part-time.
    • Standard Hours: 24.
    • Shift: Rotating.

    The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
