    About the role:
    As Senior Programmer/Analyst, you'll help develop new fintech products that will change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This could involve working with bleeding edge technology while coding, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications.

    About the team:

    The DEV Team is responsible for taking composed INPUT files and adding "controls" (i.e. barcodes, key/seq lines, etc.) to each document. Also, side files/report are created so that the various Teams can use the same for reconciliation, issue follow-up, etc.

    What you will be doing:

    The candidate will be using PIOE to add the controls and create the side files. In addition, they will be creating documentation about the process, for any future follow-ups (i.e. QA, PROD SUPPORT, etc.). Any experience with triggering/scheduling software, is a plus. In addition, experience with .NET, Powershell, Windows batch, Ricoh RPD – is, also, a plus.

    • Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
    • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
    • Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
    • Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
    • Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
    • Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented.
    • Analyzes requirements and translates business requirements into product designs.
    • Writes technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
    • Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems.
    • Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
    • Conducts planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
    • May participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.
    • May provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.



    What you will need:

    • At least, 3-years experience in PIOE
    • Experienced in high volume print/mail
    • Experience needed with AFP and PDF; PostScript, PCL and Xerox are pluses
    • .NET, Powershell, Windows batch, Ricoh RPD are pluses
    • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
    • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
    • Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML), use cases, etc.
    • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
    • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
    • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas

    FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $83, $139,530.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
