    Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Benefits Analyst supporting our team in Milwaukee, WI

    The Senior Benefits Analyst will lead and oversee servicing the financial consulting needs of the employee benefit clients.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Utilize technical skills to retain clients by providing financial expertise.
    • Independently evaluates financial and utilization metrics for clients including but not limited to monthly financial reports, metrics and benchmarks, as well as assist in negotiating renewal proposals and preparing and recommending plan changes and/or alternative funding recommendations.
    • Compliance, benchmarking, renewal & marketing, reporting & analytics for employee benefit clients.
    • Financial projections, large claim analysis, specific stop loss analysis, demographics analysis, IBNR, etc.
    • Develop reporting requirements and any deviations or customizations in those reports.
    • Assists Account Executives/Benefits Consultants in preparing requests for proposals, renewals of benefit coverages, contracts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc.
    • Participate in prospective client finalist presentations to represent the B&B financial strategy and role expectation as part of the team. This may include performing demographic analysis, claims reviews, and other projects on prospective clients to assist Sales team in pursuit of prospect.
    • Maintains proficient/expert knowledge of compliance and regulations in the benefits arena
    • Performs miscellaneous duties and projects. This includes involvement in presentations at client functions and meetings.
    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • 5+ years employee benefits experience, with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within 1 year of employment
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting client financial requirements
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
    • This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
