Job Description: Spindle Staffing is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Bus Monitor for a short-term assignment at a school in Exeter, NH. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring the behavior of an autistic student during their bus ride to and from school.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany the student on the bus to ensure their safety and well-being during transit.
• Monitor the student's behavior and provide appropriate support and intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and bus drivers to maintain a positive and supportive environment for the student.
• Maintain accurate records of the student's behavior and any incidents that occur during transportation.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding the student's transportation needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with autism or other special needs preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in potentially challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation to and from the school.
• Commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the student at all times.

Schedule:

• Approximately 4-6 hours per day
• Morning and afternoon shifts, totaling 2 hours each (may vary depending on traffic conditions)
