- Accompany the student on the bus to ensure their safety and well-being during transit.
- Monitor the student's behavior and provide appropriate support and intervention as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff and bus drivers to maintain a positive and supportive environment for the student.
- Maintain accurate records of the student's behavior and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding the student's transportation needs.
- Previous experience working with students with autism or other special needs preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in potentially challenging situations.
- Reliable transportation to and from the school.
- Commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the student at all times.
- Approximately 4-6 hours per day
- Morning and afternoon shifts, totaling 2 hours each (may vary depending on traffic conditions)
