    Job DescriptionExperienced Litigation Attorney (W2 Temporary Contract Role)

    LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join our client's law firm team in Chicago, IL. You will be responsible for managing the entire legal process, from investigation and discovery through trial prep and court proceedings. You will also be responsible for developing appropriate legal strategies, drafting legal documents, and providing guidance to junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal support team.

    Must be available to start with a week's notice

    Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour - $90 per hour, DOE
    Schedule: Full-time; Hybrid in Chicago, IL, 60604

    Qualifications:
    • Actively licensed and in good standing with the Illinois State Bar Association
    • 3+ years of experience representing plaintiffs in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and/or Wrongful Death matters
    • A minimum of three years of successful experience conducting discovery, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
    • Negotiate settlements as required
    • Research all applicable laws and findings
    • Develop appropriate legal strategies for all stages of litigation
    • Ability to develop and render clear, unambiguous legal opinions and strategies
    • Expertise drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions
    • Demonstrated white-glove client experiences and fostering positive professional relationships with opposing counsel, court officials, etc.
    • Proficient with case management software and technology.
