    Adjunct Instructor: Counseling and Human Services

    This position is for a pool of talented adjunct instructors to teach masters-level counseling graduate courses face-to-face, in hybrid and online formats using Canvas.

    About the Position

    The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about teaching and student success. We are seeking qualified individuals who are committed to clinical excellence and have expertise in counselor education.

    Responsibilities

    • Teach masters-level counseling graduate courses in various formats (face-to-face, hybrid, online) using Canvas.

    Requirements

    • Ph.D. in Counselor Education or closely related field from a CACREP-accredited university.
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with minimum two years of experience or equivalent counseling licensure Demonstrated.
    • Demonstrated teaching excellence in graduate instruction or professional development training.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with online and hybrid teaching modalities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bilingual skills.
    • Experience working with diverse student populations.
    • Demonstrated commitment to multicultural competency.
    • Experience in culturally responsive teaching practices.
    • Active engagement in professional counseling communities.

    Work Schedule

    As required to meet the academic schedule.
