    Overview:

    The Director, Human Resources Business Partner, plays a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and leading the HR team in supporting the organizations overall mission and goals. This position requires strong leadership, empathy, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills. This role is part of the HR leadership team and reports to the CHRO.

    Responsibilities:

    Business Partnership

    • Partners with leadership to align HR strategies with long and short-term business objectives, particularly in manufacturing operations, Lightspeed Labs and Agile organizations.
    • Ensures the HR processes are effectively deployed at the site level (Talent Management & Acquisition, Compensation programs, Employee Engagement, etc.)
    • Works with sites to ensure competitive pay, good working conditions, effective leadership to ensure high engagement levels.
    • Effectively leads organization through change; Creates and executes change management and communication plans to ensure minimal business interruption and high employee engagement.
    • Facilitate strategic workforce planning to ensure the organization has the right talent in place to meet current and future needs.
    • Works with site HR to ensure a robust succession plan is in place with development plans in place for succession candidates.
    • Effectively balances business requirements and employee needs in decision making processes.
    • Drives standardization on key processes across US sites (disciplinary process, career pathing, etc)
    • Partners with HRBPs to address employee relations issues swiftly and effectively, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies.
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention through a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
    • Champion initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
    • Act as a role model in embodying the organizations values.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    HR Leadership

    • Build, lead, and develop the HR Generalist/Business Partner team, ensuring they are skilled, motivated, and effectively contributing to the organizations goals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development with-in the HR team.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment within the life sciences industry.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and the unique challenges of the life sciences sector.
    • Proven track record in strategic HR planning, talent management, and employee relations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and tact.
    • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
