The Henry County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has a vacancy for a traffic and misdemeanor clerk.

Primary responsibilities include customer service, document preparation, data entry, handling correspondence with opposing legal counsel, preparing files for upcoming court dockets, general administrative support work and any additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

The position involves extensive interaction with other criminal justice professionals such as attorneys, judges, other support staff and members of various law enforcement and governmental agencies, as well as members of the public. Accordingly, excellent communication skills and a keen awareness of the image of the office are a must.

Applicants will undergo a background investigation and the successful candidate may be subjected to pre-employment drug screening.
