Position Summary
The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by taking accurate food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish. Servers are key ambassadors of the restaurant's brand and hospitality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter into POS system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen and FOH staff to ensure smooth service
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior serving experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler and TABC certification required or ability to obtain after hire
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 30 lbs
- Work in a fast-paced environment
