As a Senior IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the IT department's operations and strategies within our organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, and implementing technology solutions to support the company's goals and objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Leadership and Team Management:**
+ Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including IT administrators, engineers, and support staff.
+ Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
+ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
**IT End User Support Management:**
+ Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT Support infrastructure, including networks, telecommunications, and help desk.
+ Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
**Technology Strategy and Planning:**
+ Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
+ Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.
+ Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to support their operations.
**Project Management:**
+ Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
+ Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and allocate resources accordingly.
+ Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues and ensure successful project outcomes.
**Vendor Management:**
+ Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and service level agreements.
+ Evaluate vendor products and services to ensure they meet the company's requirements and standards.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
+ Proven experience (7+ years) in IT management, with a track record of leading successful IT projects and teams.
+ Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, and security.
+ Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
+ Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
+ Knowledge of industry best practices, compliance standards, and regulations related to IT.
