    Join Our Team as a Construction Administrator focused on electrical construction installations in commercial building projects

    Are you passionate about construction and ready to lead projects to success? We are looking for a dedicated Construction Administrator to guide the construction phase of our projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work independently in the field under the guidance of the project manager and engineer of record, ensuring our projects are installed according to design documents.

    What You'll Do:

    You will provide documentation for Construction Administration purposes which may include:

    • Attend construction meetings.
    • Review contractor submittals for compliance with construction documents.
    • Produce field observation reports.
    • Coordinate design changes with the design team when needed.
    • Mentor less experienced coworkers and promote standards.

    You will lead Construction Coordination in the field:

    • Lead construction phase meetings and manage agendas and minutes on routine projects.
    • Maintain an accurate construction change log.
    • Resolve construction phase issues and respond to RFI's in coordination with the design team.
    • Complete work within budgeted hours and provide accurate input to project managers.

    About You:

    • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field. This may include construction management, architecture, or engineering.
    • 2+ years of related construction administration experience.
    • Experience with electrical design, engineering, or construction for commercial projects a plus.
    • Good judgment and discretion in enforcing contract documents.
    • Understanding of and adherence to safety guidelines at construction sites.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
