As an Advanced Mechanical Engineer for the Torpedo Systems Group (TSG), youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, demonstrating, producing, assembling, testing, and delivering torpedo SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies.

Creating and maintaining mechanical solid models and drawings using SolidWorks
Creating and managing bills of material (BOM) within Progenys data management systems
Developing fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts
Developing and presenting PowerPoint slides documenting design progress
Particiapting in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis
Developing technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer team.

Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
