    What you will be doing:

    Reporting to the Director of Brand & Business Development, you will help drive the department's initiatives, campaigns, and goals forward. You will be responsible for working with the firm's subject matter experts to develop high quality content for the website and social media channels, as well as helping drive awareness through increased media placements, press releases, and thought leadership content.

    • Own the content creation and publishing process
      • Develop expert thought leadership content that increases brand awareness and engagement
      • Proofread and edit content after posting to the firm's website, social media, email, and/or internal channels
      • Draft messages, talking points, and/or scripts for partners and senior managers for internal presentations
      • Ensure internal messaging and tone is consistent across all channels and all offices
    • Manage the firm's social media channels
    • Seek and secure press & award opportunities
    • Develop and maintain relevant media relationships
    • Stay current on industry news and alerts to ensure content is relevant and timely
    • Train and coach partners and senior managers on effective communication techniques (oral and written)
    • Track and analyze results, generate reports, proactively provide feedback to improve success

    What you'll need to succeed in this role:

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional communications experience (not including internships) - preferably in a professional services industry
    • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
    • Exceptional copywriting and proofing skills
      • Expert ability to distill complex subjects into concise and understandable language
      • Great storyteller
    • Experience managing corporate social media pages
    • Deep understanding of the firm's services
      • Experience creating content on topics such as: Accounting, Audit, Tax, Business Management, Contract Compliance, Information Security, Employee Benefit Plans, Entertainment, Labor Organizations, Professional Services Firms, and more)
    • Relationship builder – takes care in cultivating internal and external relationships
    • Strong multi-tasker who can manage multiple projects on tight deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
    • Commitment to quality
    • Stays current with evolving technologies, platforms, and best practices

    If considered for the position, you will be asked to send 5 samples of your content. Samples can include articles, blogs, podcast scripts, and/or video scripts.
