We provide our clients with a turn-key solution for low voltage systems including Security, Cameras & Video Surveillance, Audio Video, Whole House Audio, Low Voltage Prewires packages, Access Control and more.

    We are in search of talented and highly motivated individuals with experience and interest in the Home Technology industry.

    SALES – RESIDENTIAL HOME TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT

    Responsibilities:

    • Running company issued leads
    • Business Development, networking and cold calling
    • Account management of existing customers, home builders and other referral partners
    • Scheduling consultations and conducting presentations
    • Building estimates and writing proposals
    • Contracting and preparing sales jobs for installation
    • A complete sales process includes sales consultations, design services, professional installation, and 24-HR Anytime support
    • Network & develop new sales opportunities
    • Manage existing customers
    • Develop and maintain an active lead generation plan within the assigned territory through the use of referrals, contact with local builders, cold calling, events and direct mailing
    • Identify and qualify customer needs, develop sales strategies for new sales and upgrades in order to close profitable projects
    • Provide timely and effective sales presentations to prospective customers
    • Conduct job surveys, specify the type of system required, provide a cost proposal and design to be used as a basis for the contract
    • Assume account management responsibility including the provision and/or coordination of services (installation, customer training, etc.) to ensure complete customer satisfaction
    • Exhibit a thorough knowledge of all pricing procedures and strategies to ensure that contract estimates are accurate and will deliver the expected return
    • Ensure the customer requirements are confirmed and are understood
    • Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform necessary follow-up for successful closing of the sale
    • Operate within the general policies and procedures of local branch and Corporate, guided by generally accepted alarm industry practices, local ordinances, and U.L. requirements
    • Maintain updated application knowledge of all Priority One Security product offerings and systems and can communicate and sell these systems to customers

    EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & EDUCATION:

    • Sales experience is a bonus but not required
    • College experience preferred but not required
    • Industry experience preferred including but not limited to: Realtor/Home Sales, Audio Video Sales, Low Voltage wiring, Security system, Audio Solutions, Cameras & Video Surveillance, etc.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Understanding of security system design and application, pricing, lead generation and time management
    • Self-motivated and a self-starter able to work with little supervision
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent in customer relationships, conflict resolution, negotiation and customer service
    • Must have a valid driver's license issued by the State in which they reside; clean driving record (reliable vehicle required)
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check to receive Burglar Alarm License
    • College degree preferred, must have High School Diploma or GED

    Compensation:

    • Base Salary + Commission + Bonus: $65,000 to $150,000+
    • No pay ceiling
    • Training & Certification pay for OTJ training
    • Compensation is based on industry experience and certifications
