Full-Time Educational Diagnostician in DeSoto, TX

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic, cognitive, and behavioral functioning
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
• Provide consultation and support to educators and staff regarding student needs and accommodations
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Educational Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
• Previous experience working as an Educational Diagnostician preferred
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education
