    Position Summary:
    W

    orks on the front line for project customer services, accessing data from the project management system of record and

    providing

    project management reporting, data analysis, process, tools, and training support to the IT project management community.

    Responsible for consistent production of all custom and ad-hoc reporting using analytics toolsets for both the IT Executive and Management levels, and,

    performing

    routine data analysis using analytics toolsets to

    identify

    and track trends, develop insights, formulate

    hypotheses

    and draw conclusions and recommendations based on data consumed.

    Within these two primary responsibilities, this position manages the collection and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to

    assist

    IT Executive Leadership with critical decision-making to manage the project portfolio effectively and efficiently.

    This position is also pivotal in presenting data, data analysis, and findings and recommendations to IT leadership and other interested stakeholders.

    Other responsibilities may include planning, assigning, and/or coordinating the work of others, benchmarking performance metrics and operational metrics against similarly sized and scoped IT organizations, and responding to customer service requests for systems, process, and project management related information.


    This position works in conjunction with team leadership under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.

    The ideal candidate will

    possess


    the minimum qualifications:
    8 Years - Skilled in managing projects with implementations across large organizations.

    Experience should include developing and managing project plans; documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.

    4 Years - Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues.

    4 Years - Skilled in effectively mapping business processes and

    identifying

    process improvements and skilled in planning and

    facilitating

    meetings and group problem solving.
    4 Years - Experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and

    facilitate

    the SDLC process.
    4 Years - Experience developing and

    maintaining

    strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders. Must

    possess

    strong communication

    and presentation skills and strong teamwork skills.

    4 Years - Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conduct regular project team status meetings.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Agile (Scrum) Experience - Managing the project with feature driven sprints.
    Agile

    methodology

    , overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments align with project timelines.
    Experience implementing and using agile methodologies and best practices for 1 or more State of Texas Agencies.
    PMP Certification.
