POSITION SUMMARY
The essence of the Custom Artist is to sculpt, prepare, and paint custom three-dimensional concrete artworks using a range of tools, stamps, and techniques. This role involves partnering with custom design and build teams to plan and produce products to specification and support all phases of the custom production process.
Hours: M-F, 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Paint and finish 3D concrete molded forms using sprayers, brushes, and other finishing tools
- Apply color, texture, and detail to achieve specified artistic styles, including realistic and abstract designs
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking, and patching as needed
- Regularly use paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, stamps, molds, grinders, and other hand tools to create desired effects on finished products
- Clean, maintain, and properly store equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Cross-train in other areas of production to support workflow and team needs
- Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years professional experience in painting or finishing three-dimensional surfaces (art, sculpture, set design, or related fields), required
- Strong attention to detail and color consistency
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, regularly
- Ability to stand, lift, and work with hands for extended periods
- High school diploma/GED preferred
The target hourly range is $ $34.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.
In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
