Responsibilities:

As Director of Nursing, you will utilize your leadership qualities to inspire, lead, and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

· Manages the day-to-day clinical services of a more complex community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.

· Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as residents' healthcare needs change.

· Supervises and provides leadership, as well as coaching, to licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community.

· May be responsible for leading additional clinical leadership team up to five members

Requirements:

· Functional literacy in English is required;

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills are needed;

· A current, valid state registration/certification as a registered or licensed nurse is required;

· Supervisory experience is desirable;

· Experience in nursing in a long-term care setting is preferred;

· Performing daily activities with an attitude of humility;

· Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner;

· Must have a current and valid RN nursing license or a current and valid nursing license from a Compact Party State; have a license for nurse delegation.

· Approaching each patient and coworker as if they were part of your family;
