    Job DescriptionSCHEDULE/COMPENSATION
    • Monday through Thursday (4, 10-hour days)
    • 6:00AM - 4:30PM
    • Possible OT on Friday and/or Saturday as production demands require
    • $22-24/hr DOE

    DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for high performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, wire enclosures and much more

    We are privately held American owned Small Business made up of five (5) vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.

    We are looking for dependable, fast paced, hard-working individuals with experience as a Production Scheduler with the following qualifications and experience:

    JOB SUMMARY

    Production Schedulers use their knowledge of the production process and reports to create weekly and monthly production schedules. They must also be able to understand all levels and sub assemblies of production and follow multi products in house and with outside services. By effectively scheduling Job Orders, Production Schedulers help ensure that company objectives are achieved and that all deadlines are met. They must be able to multitask and provide quick responses to production problems. As generating reports and schedules require the use of software, Production Schedulers must have an aptitude for computers and previous planning experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

    Create and distribute production job orders for multiple work centers, while ensuring all job order links are connected and accurate.

    Review inventory stocking levels to ensure production begins on schedule.

    Confirm Job Orders, Drawings, and Inspection Records match, prior to release to production.

    Update all internal scheduling metrics; job tracking tool and customer order lines.

    Provide rapid responses to production issues.

    Identify problems and help improve processes.

    Use software to generate reports and schedules.

    Ensure that company deadlines are met

    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Ensure work areas and kept clean and organized.

    Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.

    Enforces DCX-CHOL Enterprises policies and safety practices.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    High School Diploma or GED with 1 year minimum job related experience. Experience in production a plus.

    Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

    Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

    Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.

    Ability to create and understand reports in order to recommend production changes.

    ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

    To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
