    Job Summary:
    ITLE is looking for an innovative person capable of complex thinking and quick responses.

    This person must be a dynamic and highly organized self-starter who is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves to get the job done on time.

    The job consists of project management and system design management of audio-visual related projects and installations from design phase to completion.

    Must be able to communicate and coordinate with OSU architect, Long Range Facilities Planning, Facilities Management, and clients in a timely manner respectful of each projects timelines and budgets while still provide a solution meeting current industry standard.

    Other duties to include troubleshooting AV systems, programming AV systems, repair of classroom teaching components, successful planning, implementation, testing, training of installations, help ticket entry, control center operation, and other duties related to broadcast/AV technologies.

    Department duties include developing, maintaining, and managing an operational and technical system that effectively supports the technical operations of the ITLE department.

    Manage staff resources to accomplish OSU Campus system upgrades as required. Work with Director as required on projects to provide bid specifications, procurement, project management and oversight of AV contractors.

    Supervision of daily technical operations of the ITLE Master Control Facility to include Broadcast video equipment, compressed video equipment, live streaming events, video encoding, and classroom AV system.

    Education & Experience


    Position Qualifications:
    Minimum Qualifications:

    High School/GED

    Six years of experience in operations, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, installation and design of multimedia and/or broadcast systems. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.


    Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations >The ability to operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair broadcast audio, video, and transmission equipment.

    >Operation and maintenance of Microsoft Windows OS and associated Microsoft programs, MAC OS and associated programs, iOS, and Android mobile platforms, as well as Linux systems.

    >Working knowledge of computer networking infrastructure and operational knowledge of networking components. >Multimedia system design and installation techniques will be required. >Live streaming expertise. >Knowledge of core editing software. Working knowledge of Crestron hardware and Crestron programming and equivalent solutions. Be able to setup and configure digital audio networks to include audio DSP hardware and Dante Audio streams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's in Broadcast Engineering, Computer Engineering MIS, Engineering, or related field

    5 years of experience in operations, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, installation and design of multimedia and broadcast systems.
