    Description

    Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to supervise & coordinates activities of maintenance workers engaged in the maintaining, repairing, installing and removing of mechanical production and building equipment. The Manager will oversee a maintenance team of about 8-9 Techs & 1 or 2 Salaried Leads / Supervisors. This is a Mon-Fri position working days. This is a people-centric culture with low turnover and the facility has ben updated with modern, state of the art equipment. Candidates with previous experience managing Maintenance Schedules & Reliability Based Preventative Maintenance Programs within the Flexible Packaging / Printing industry will be preferred.

    Job Description

    • Supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance workers engaged in maintaining and repairing or installing and removing mechanical and building equipment.
    • Schedules all maintenance operations (Preventative, Break/Fix and Projects).
    • Performs electrical and industrial controls work as needed.
    • Oversees selection process for work done by outside companies by obtaining bids and selecting those vendors and supervises work.
    • Creates and maintains preventive maintenance programs and manages the CMMS
    • Initiates personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures, including dispensation of Corrective Action paperwork.
    • Confers with management to determine plant Maintenance budget.

    Education / Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree Preferable
    • 3+ years' Maintenance / Reliability Management or 5+ years Superintendent / Supervisor experience in high speed, automated manufacturing
    • Experienced in repair / maintenance / fabrication of facilities, utilities & plant manufacturing machinery - engines, motor, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, boilers, production machines,
    • Experienced in creating/ revising PM Programs & managing the CMMS
    • Utilize measures to monitor maintenance processes for continuous improvement
    • Participate on cross-functional project teams
