    Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a professional and customer service oriented full-time Process Mapping Analyst to join our Bank Operations department.

    The Process Mapping Analyst will deliver a World Class Experience by working independently and in collaboration with departmental subject matter experts, and managers.

    The position's duties include the creation, editing, and management of departmental process maps in accordance with professional technical writing standards and best practices.

    Responsible for leading process mapping, process analyses, collaborative process optimization, and process change management across the Bank. The position will adhere to style and formatting standards for departmental process maps.

    Education & Experience:
    A college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of advanced technical writing and documentation experience, including edit of process map, required.
    Minimum of 3 years of process analysis experience, including workflow documentation and collaborative process change management required.

    Experience working with content management systems such as SharePoint or Confluence, authoring tools (Flare, RoboHelp), diagramming software (Visio, Lucidchart) and working with project management software (Project, Jira, or Basecamp) required.

    Advanced experience working with authoring tools such as FrameMaker, Word, or Acrobat preferred.

    Essential Functions:
    Uses advanced technical writing knowledge to edit, write, and maintain new and revised process maps.

    Works with departmental subject matter experts, managers, and executives to develop, document, and present optimized future state workflows, taking into account all applicable laws and regulations.

    Assesses internal processes and make recommendations to streamline, gain efficiencies, and reduce risk.
    Tracks and reports on the status of process map sets for all business units.
    Identifies documentation dependencies, and close gaps between areas and departments that share but do not collaboratively maintain process maps.

    Implements and manages vigorous version controls to ensure that only the latest versions of documents are available to end users and auditors.

    Manages documentation review process including prioritizing, resolving discrepancies by analyzing, negotiating, and escalating as appropriate.
    Ensures documentation is in compliance with corporate standards, established guidelines, and easily understood by the end-user.

    Participates in project meetings to obtain a comprehensive understanding of project deliverables; represent the department, and ensure deadlines are met for all deliverables.

    Skills & Capabilities:
    Mastery of advanced technical writing standards and techniques.
    Ability to convert and chunk narrative text into succinct process maps.
    Mastery of document and content management principles and techniques
    Expert in the use of authoring tools, document and content management systems, and delivery systems.
    Proven ability to manage the production and maintenance of multiple process maps for multiple audiences.
    Ability to lead department teams through process mapping, process analysis, and process optimization sessions.
    Proven ability to work within highly regulated environments; financial industry experience a plus.
    Ability to simplify and effectively present complex material.
    Ability to capture and effectively present undocumented workflows and procedures and apply best practices for process optimization.
    Strong project management and reporting skills.
    Ability to obtain cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via complex, senior level dialogues.
    Must be flexible and willing to work in an interactive and dynamic team environment.
    Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and customer service skills.
    Strong knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to fellow associates at all levels of the Bank.

    Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
    Ability to lead by example in a team setting and work independently while performing duties.

    Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

    Must be able to perform this position safely, without endangering the health or safety to himself or herself or others.

    Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
    Must be able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team.
    Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.
    Must be able to demonstrate highest levels of customer service and confidentiality with internal and external customers.
