    Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Caretenders team in Dedham, Massachusetts.

    About the Role:

    • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
    • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
    • Conduct home visits, assess patient needs, and create tailored treatment plans to promote independence and functionality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Follow established plans of care, providing evidence-based treatments within the scope of an OTA's practice.
    • Observe, record, and report patient progress to supervising OTs, nurse supervisors, and physicians.
    • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients, family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on therapy techniques.

    Requirements:

    • Current OTA licensure in the state of MA.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation.
