    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Engineer 3 to support one of our clients in the transportation industry. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and working with manufacturers to create parts and assemblies using high-volume manufacturing processes.

    The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the field, with expertise in closure systems and sub-systems at an OEM or supplier. Additionally, they should have experience working with Class A surface data and designing parts and assemblies using CATIA language and functions.

    The selected candidate will work closely with the Closure team at client and will have high visibility into new product launches. They will also have the opportunity to offer their knowledge and expertise.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of overall experience in the field
    • 2 or 4-year technical degree in a relevant discipline from ABET accredited institution or equivalent desired

    Performance Indicators

    Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work.

    Hard Skills Assessments

    Expected Dates: ASAP

    Assessment Process: 1-2 rounds

    Required Candidate Preparation: Speak on previous design work in the automotive space, ability to speak on CATIA language and functions

    Compensation

    The national base pay range is $120,000 - $128,000. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications.
