    We are seeking a Payments Product Lead to create, lead and deliver our person to person payments roadmap. Your objective will be to rapidly expand our payments capabilities to meet core customer needs.

    Were looking for a product leader with the skill to converge customer and business needs through deep understanding of payment rail capabilities and user experience.

    Our goal is to go beyond the utility needs of payments to delight our customers with money movement that is fast, frictionless, intelligent, and transparent.

    This role will be responsible for initiatives end to end, from performing customer and market research, to designing the product, to developing and implementing the products, and measuring the results and identifying opportunities to iterate.

    What you'll be doing

    Create and implement the product roadmap for money movement
    Create thought leadership on payments experiences
    Own the performance of your products: optimizing for meeting customer needs in terms of speed, convenience and access, while controlling for fraud, operational costs and cost of any 3rd party solutions
    Collaborate effectively with other groups to create solutions, including data science, design, user experience research, risk, operations and marketing
    Write and present detailed product deliverables on key initiatives to executives and stakeholders
    Get involved with industry meet-ups and associations to stay on top of new trends and best practices
    Roll up your sleeves to remove barriers and obstacles hindering the team's ability to ship
    Evangelize payments initiatives across Varo
    Youll bring the following required skills and experiences

    5+ years of experience in payments such as card products, P2P products, and ACH
    Familiarity with UX paradigms and best practices
    A measurement mindset - you know when to launch with holdouts, A/B tests, or multi-arm bandits
    A bias towards action - Youll find a way to get the data you need to help inform your decision making
    Ability to distill complex information into clear and succinct strategy documents and actional PRDs to sell your vision
    Technically proficiency to collaborate with engineers to develop technical architecture of products youll be building
