    Program Coordinator, Innovation


    reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

    The Program Coordinator, Innovation is responsible for participating in projects and administratively supporting the Innovation department. The program coordinator supports teams in achieving health system, regional, and local priorities that advance innovation for Northwestern Medicine.

    This entails supporting the Innovation program teams through meeting coordination, project planning, presentation preparation, and other skills in advancing these efforts.


    Responsibilities:
    Project Management

    Coordinate up to 3 cross functional Innovation projects including, but not limited to, startup company evaluations/pilots, Innovation Champions program, and the Innovation Challenge Grant.

    Collaborate with Program Managers and project teams on Innovation projects to execute day-to-day tasks and ensure successful completion of projects.

    Responsible for taking the lead on project activities including team assembly, meeting facilitation, follow up completion, timeline development, task execution, IT reviews and resourcing, value analysis, solution design, and success metric definition through successful completion.

    Prepare and review deliverables for program manager and leadership approval. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
    Conduct research and data analysis to support Innovation project needs for market analysis, value analysis, and success metric identification.
    Innovation Programs & Content

    Collaborate with Innovation Team on departmental objectives including LinkedIn postings, program development, leadership report outs, playbook development, and task execution to support the mission of NM Innovation.

    Research and develop internal and external communications in both print and digital formats including presentations, speaking points, collateral, correspondence and other written materials.

    Facilitate design and maintenance of website content ensuring ease and practicality of use for targeted audience.

    Create, write, edit and post articles, news, and program summaries to Innovation website (internal and external) and social media pages on LinkedIn and other platforms.

    Event Management & Coordination

    Lead and support activities related to Innovation programs including, but not limited to, Innovation Champions, Innovation Challenge Grant, Innovation Scholars, Mansueto Innovation Institute Tours, and Hosted Events.

    Coordinate events, involving multiple parties, including internal and external guest including scheduling, signage, catering, equipment, and preparation and distribution of notifications, in support of programs, events and activities as appropriate across the entire healthcare system.

    Additional Functions
    May support additional projects as requested.
    Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Required :
    Bachelor's degree in healthcare, communications, business, or related field
    0-4 years relevant experience
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
    Ability to organize and think independently with orientation to deadline and detail.
    Exceptional project management skills.
    Detail oriented, with strong written, oral, and presentations skills.
    Experience performing data analysis and market research.
    Willing to travel to NMHC sites as project tasks demand.
    Excellent interpersonal skills to include presentation, negotiation, persuasion, team facilitation, and written communications skills.
    Strong time management skills and sound judgment.

    Preferred :
    2+ years of project management experience.
    Healthcare experience.
