SummaryThis position is a Fish and Wildlife Biologist, GS , working in Bloomington, MN; East Lansing, MI; Columbus, OH; Columbia, MO; Bloomington, IN; Moline, IL; New Franken, WI; or Madison, WI, for the R3-Assistant Regional Director-Ecological Services.
DutiesThis position is a regional fish and wildlife biologist whose areas of responsibility include pesticides, agriculture, pollinators, and/or high priority threatened and endangered species issues.
Duties will include but are not limited to providing overall program support and oversight which may include technical, policy, program, and budget support.
Serving in a leadership role to develop collaborative, biologically sound, and partnership driven approaches to meet Service mission goals with partners and other stakeholders such as other Federal, state fish and wildlife agencies, Tribal organizations, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and academia.
Participating in multi-agency projects as an advisor or subject matter expert intended to support program related efforts across geographic areas, other boundaries, and programs.
