    Description
    Job Title: Accounting Clerk at ABC Company


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Review previous day's invoicing
    • Verify accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions
    • Classify and record numerical data for financial records
    • Analyze loan ledger report and maintain balance spreadsheet
    • Conduct routine calculating, posting, and verifying tasks for financial data
    • Process credit and debit memos
    • Invoice final machine shipments and handle customer offsets
    • Maintain customer sales tax exemptions
    • Review and reconcile credit card payments
    • Collaborate with accounts payable team to address inquiries
    • Act as backup for accounts receivable team
    • Assist with audits and collections
    • Perform month-end closing duties


    Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Degree in Business Administration or Accounting or relevant experience
    • Ability to work under deadlines
    • Understanding of receivables processes to meet sales goals
    • Customer-oriented mindset
    • Promote lean practices and value creation
