Controls Engineer at Manpower Group in Jerome, Idaho, United States Job Description Controls Engineer Relocation is available Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and implement control systems (logic software and hardware) to meet machine and integrated system requirements + Make on-site PLC and HMI changes + Maintain the plant's OT/IT environment + Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope + Prepare project specifications and release design to vendors + Acquire and negotiate contractor bids + Manage and support capital projects of varying sizes + Be available for regular standby assignments and work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required + Understand and interpret piping and instrument diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, one-line drawings, loop sheets, databases, and vendor manuals + Utilize appropriate ISA standards and practices + Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations + Follow L.O.T.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience + Minimum of one year of dairy plant experience preferred + Journeyman's electrical license or background in electrical field controls integrated systems applications + Experience with developing sequence of operations, functional acceptance, and operational acceptance documentation + Knowledge of instrumentation and controls design, as well as PLC (Allen Bradley PLCs, Device Net, ControlNet Point I/O, and Allen Bradley VFDs) + In-depth understanding of control systems, components, ladder logic programming, and HMI/SCADA programming (e.g.
