We are seeking a Laser Operator/Programmer (Mitsubishi Fiber Laser) to join our team You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints or CAD files to ensure accurate cuts
• Set up and operate fiber laser machine according to job specifications
• Load and unload materials, such as sheet metal, onto the machine
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with the laser equipment
• Perform typical laser cutting operations
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields - 3+ years of experience
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift experience required
• Preferred experience with single part tooling and multipart nesting
