    Description

    The Department of Radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking an additional full-time interventional radiologist to join our rapidly growing clinically oriented practice.


    Enjoy a reasonable daily workload with a diverse and interesting case mix, and the opportunity to teach the next generation of radiologists in our diagnostic and interventional residency programs.

    Our growing NP/PA team supports our outpatient clinic, inpatient service, and minor procedures. Opportunities exist for research and scholarly activity, but there are no research requirements.


    UMMC is the state's only academic medical center, providing the highest level of care to patients with the greatest needs.

    The Mississippi Tort Claims Act protects University employees from personal liability for incidents that occur during the course and scope of his or her employment.

    UMMC provides occurrence malpractice insurance (i.e., no need for tail coverage).

    Requirements:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, or equivalent
    • Fellowship training with ABR IR board certification or eligibility
    • Ability to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Mississippi
